Olivia Rodrigo is opening up about being partially deaf in one ear.
On Wednesday, June 10, the “Drop Dead” singer, 23, made an appearance on KISS FM UK and spoke to hosts Tyler West and Chloe Burrows about her much-anticipated third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which will be released on June 12.
During the show, West mentioned that one of Rodrigo’s new songs is called “What’s Wrong With Me?” and jokingly asked the Grammy winner, “What is actually wrong with you?”
“There’s quite a lot that’s wrong with me,” she said with a laugh. “I’m actually like, 60% deaf in my left ear. So, if you were to sit on this side of me [points to her left] and try to tell me a secret, I couldn’t make out what you were saying.”
“So, if you tell me a secret, go right ear,” she added.
“That is amazing because you’re a singer and you always have like headphones,” Burrows said, shocked by the news. “That is crazy!”
