Rosemary: A Clinically Studied Hair Growth Booster
Rosemary is more than just a fragrant herb; its oil has been scientifically studied for promoting hair growth. In fact, research shows that rosemary oil can be as effective as certain medical treatments for hair loss, but without harsh side effects. Rosemary helps by:
Stimulating blood circulation in the scalp
Encouraging dormant follicles to produce new growth
Reducing hair shedding
Adding shine and thickness to the hair
When combined with onion and cloves, rosemary creates a triple-action formula: stimulating, nourishing, and protecting the hair.
1.Onion & Rosemary Hair Growth Oil
 Ingredients
1 medium red onion (peeled and finely chopped)
3–4 sprigs of fresh rosemary (or 1 tablespoon dried)
½ cup (100 ml) of coconut oil, olive oil, or castor oil (you can mix them)
Optional:
A few drops of lavender essential oil for fragrance
1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil for extra nourishment
 How to Prepare
Warm the oil:
Pour the coconut (or olive) oil into a small pan and heat it on low flame.
Don’t let it boil — just warm enough to release the herbs’ properties.
Add the onion and rosemary:
Add the chopped onion and rosemary sprigs to the oil.
Stir slowly for 5–7 minutes, until the onion turns slightly golden.
Cool and strain:
Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down completely.
Strain the oil through a fine sieve or cloth to remove the onion and rosemary pieces.
Store:
Pour the infused oil into a glass jar or bottle with a lid.
Keep it in a cool, dark place. It will last up to 3–4 weeks.
 How to Use
Warm a small amount of oil in your hands.
Massage gently into your scalp for 5–10 minutes.
Leave it on for at least 1 hour (or overnight for deeper nourishment).
Wash with a mild shampoo.
Use it 2–3 times a week for best results — you’ll notice stronger roots, shinier hair, and faster growth within a few weeks.Â
