When we’re faced with certain intersections, our brains often work too fast. We think we’ve found the solution in a matter of seconds, without taking the time to observe all the elements of the environment. As a result, a small, overlooked piece of information can completely change the order in which we proceed.
In this particular situation, four vehicles arrive at the intersection:
a gray car leaves the dirt road and turns right;
a red car is on the dirt road and wants to turn left;
a green truck also enters the road and turns left;
a blue minibus continues straight ahead.
A detail that confuses many drivers? There are no visible right-of-way signs at the intersection. Many therefore immediately assume that only the right-of-way rule applies… but that would be a hasty conclusion.
