What kind of eggs are these? They’re on a blackberry I found in my salad at the dining hall.

1. **Discard the berry:** Simply throw away the specific blackberry that has the eggs on it.

2. **Check the rest:** Give the rest of your salad a quick scan just to be sure there aren’t any others.

3. **Washing:** Usually, a good rinse with water removes most hitchhikers, though these eggs are glued on pretty tight by a natural adhesive.
