Alternative: Dishwasher tablets
If the “2 tablets” in your recipe are dishwasher tablets, these act as a powerful degreaser and bleach. Simply add 1-2 tablets directly to the drum and wash at a higher temperature (ideally 60°C). This trick also helps to clean the washing machine itself of deposits and odors.
A quick note: These tricks work best for white laundry. Be careful with colored laundry, as strong detergents or acids can bleach the colors.
