A riddle that confuses the situation
We all love small logic puzzles: they make us think, they entertain us… or make us dizzy! This, in particular, has been circulating on the internet for years, causing misunderstandings wherever it goes. And for good reason: appearances can be deceiving.
The opening sentence seems illogical: a woman was born and died in 1975, but would she be 22 years old? Unless you’re a time traveler (and even then!), it seems impossible. So, of course, we come up with explanations. A typo? A different calendar? We’re complicating things… when the answer is much simpler than we think.The little girl is sitting at the table and innocently playing with the spoon while looking at her mother.
“Mom, while you were at work, a strange lady came into the house. »
The mother, who is busy putting away the shopping, stops suddenly.
“A strange lady? We’ll see when Dad comes home. »
The tone is dry, but the little girl shrugs her shoulders without being impressed.
