Almost every girl learned to sew but not that long ago. There was a sewing kit, including scissors, a pin cushion, pins, needles, and a measuring tape.
Even if you did not sew, you would be able to recognize most of those items today. But there are also some things that we might not recognize such as needle threaders.
The needle threaders are still used by some people, but those coin-shaped objects with thin wire in a diamond shape were very popular back in the day.
It is really hard to put a thread into the eye of the needle. But this little contraption made it a lot easier.

If you give one of these to young child today, they will look at you with a blank stare. This is used to open a can or a bottle before twist off or pulltabs existed.
Record adapters
You may see this as a fidgit spinner, but it’s actually a record adapter. As very few people use records nowadays these adapters are not often in circulation.
You could use one of these adapters to get a record to fit if you put a record onto the record player that was the wrong size.

You might recognize these if you were around in the 70s. These were supposed to help you lose weight. Even though these were nothing more than a fad, were very popular.
