Joke of the moment: A little girl talks to her mother

“Oh? What and?”

Before Mommy can continue speaking, the little girl jumps up from her chair enthusiastically.

“I told you about the woman who came today!”

Dad falls silent immediately.

“Which woman?” he asks cautiously.

‘That lady with the smart coat,’ says the girl. “They came to help look for the papers.”

Mom is looking even more sternly now.

And where did you look?

The girl even thinks for a moment and answers design:

In the study! Dad said that all the important documents were there.

Dad visibly heaves a sigh of relief.

“That was Mrs. De Vries from the administration,” he says quickly. “She came by to bring a contract that I had forgotten to sign.”

Mom is still looking at him.

Why didn’t you say that sooner?

Dad opens his mouth, but the little girl interrupts him again.

“Oh yes!” she cries. “And then Daddy gave her something really big!”

Mom’s eyes widen.

Dad slowly turns to his daughter.

What exactly do you mean?

The girl laughed the most.

A stack of old papers! He said he was glad he was finally rid of that junk.

There is a brief silence.

Then Mom starts to laugh.

Dad sighs with relief and says:

Next time, I’ll tell you right away who’s coming over.

The girl looks from her father to her mother.

“Why are you looking at me so strangely? I was just telling you what happened, wasn’t I?”

And that is exactly why Mom and Dad decided one thing from that day on:

When a species tells a story, you must always wait until the whole story is finished.

DUCKS.
