Snow foam is primarily a cleaning product.

A foam polishing pad, on the other hand, can be used with an appropriate automotive polish or scratch remover.
So if a viral video claims that spraying ordinary foam on a scratch makes it disappear, be cautious.
The foam may simply be cleaning the area, temporarily filling the defect, or helping distribute another product.
Why Some Scratches “Disappear” Temporarily
Some products contain fillers or oils that temporarily make fine scratches harder to see.
The result can look impressive immediately after application.
