Start the washing machine empty, on a 90-degree wash, and pour vinegar diluted with water into the detergent compartment and the fabric softener compartment. Add one part vinegar to two parts water! Let the program run. Then make a cleaning solution with bicarbonate. Mix three tablespoons in about two dl lukewarm water and use a cloth to wipe the washing machine drum, detergent compartment, door and rubber seals.
Restart an empty wash at 90 degrees with bicarbonate. Mix two tablespoons with two deciliters of water. Then pour this into the detergent compartment and the fabric softener compartment. Once the program starts, the unpleasant odors will be gone!
