Dozens of snakes recently appeared in our house

White snake grass

Also known as “white tongue grass,” “snake grass,” or “boa grass,” it grows year-round in moist, shady areas, often along roadsides or near bodies of water. Snakes have often been seen where this grass grows.

Purple Cassia

The fruits of this plant are sweet and attract small animals – mice, squirrels, ferrets. And snakes, in turn, hunt mice.

If cassia grows in your area, especially during fruiting, the risk of encountering a snake near it increases.

Fragrant flowers

(passionflower, jasmine, cosmos, morning glory)

These flowers in their natural habitat can attract snakes with their scent. However, if you fertilize them with chemicals, snakes will avoid such places.
