Cremation or burial: a personal decision

Today, cremation accounts for approximately 40% of  funerals in France, a figure that is constantly increasing. This choice is often based on:

– An ecological motivation (less space used than a grave).
– A lower cost (approximately €3,500 compared to €5,000 for a burial).
– A practical aspect (possibility of scattering the ashes in a symbolic location).

Funerals and bereavement

And what do you think of cremation? Is it an appealing alternative for you, or do you prefer traditional burial?
