A sudden change in eyesight should never simply be blamed on fatigue or aging without evaluation.
## 6. Dizziness or Loss of Balance
Some strokes, particularly those involving the back of the brain, can cause sudden problems with balance and coordination.
Symptoms may include:
* Severe dizziness
* Vertigo
* Trouble standing
* Difficulty walking straight
* Sudden loss of coordination
The American Stroke Association specifically includes sudden balance loss and difficulty walking among stroke warning signs.
