The post asks a simple question: “Who remembers having one of these in school?” For many people, this tiny object instantly brings back memories of their classroom days.
Before modern electric sharpeners became common in schools, students often carried their own small handheld sharpeners in their pencil cases. These sharpeners were simple, lightweight, and extremely practical. All a student needed to do was insert a pencil and twist it until the blade created a sharp point. The shavings would collect inside the plastic case, which could later be opened and emptied into the trash.
